Horton Winter Carnival History
The Horton Winter Carnival begain in 1978 at the Horton Sportsplex. The Horton Sportsplex was built entirely with volunteer help in 1976. From 1978 through 1985 the Winter Carnival was opened the first evening with the throning of the Carnival Queen followed by a dance. Each Saturday various outdoor activities were held.
